Wigs

Hair loss, for whatever reason, can have a dramatic, and often traumatic, effect. You can feel like you lose your identity and it can profoundly affect one's confidence and self-esteem as well as impacting personal relationships. This is often happening at a time when people are having to deal with major health issues too.

Whether you are considering a synthetic fibre wig or hair piece, or one made from human hair, or you are simply after a change of hair style, the quality and popularity of them has improved immensely over the years and this has meant that they are now more realistic, comfortable and affordable as they have ever been.

I am proud to be able to offer a vast selection of wigs and hair pieces, including head coverings, from many of the major suppliers with the majority being manufactured in the UK. These include the René of Paris collections such as Hi Fashion, Noriko, Amore and Sentoo as well as popular collections from Ellen Willie, Muse and Christine Headwear.

I can also offer aftercare advice and supply the recommended products to help maintain your new wig's appearance, so you always look and feel your best.

Also, if your new wig is suitable and you wish to have it styled or cut then I can recommend a very experienced hair stylist who can also visit you at home to do this.

I know that you may not be feeling your best and certain treatments can take an enormous toll on us both mentally and physically. That is why, alongside helping you to choose your new wig or hair piece, I am glad to be able to offer some alternative therapies in the form of tailored facials (including massage) using products from the Jennifer Young range. These are very gentle and nourishing and have been specifically designed to be safe for anyone with or undergoing treatment for cancer.

I am fully trained and insured so medical consent is not required. So all you need to do is sit or lay back, relax and let me do the rest, all within the comfort of your own home.

To your door

It isn't always possible, for whatever reason, to be able to attend an appointment at a salon or wig shop in person so that is why I will come to you.

You can choose a convenient day and time when, following our initial consultation via telephone during which your appointment will be made, I will bring along various samples for you to look at as well as a selection of brochures. These will have been adapted according to your preferences.

I would also encourage you to have a family member or friend with you while you make your choice as it's always nice to have a second opinion from someone who knows you well.

There are no time restrictions as I strongly believe that we are all individuals and so are our needs. I also do not charge for my visit and there is no obligation to buy.
