About me

Hello, my name is Allison and I am delighted to be able to offer my bespoke mobile wig service, Wigs & more to your door, to anyone living in or around Suffolk.

Whether you are undergoing treatment for cancer, suffer with alopecia or any of the other causes of hair loss, I understand and empathise how difficult this is.

After working within the NHS for many years, including my role as a qualified nurse, it has been my caring personality that has always led me to positions in which I can help people.

Why I started Wigs & more

It was after caring directly for a close family member with cancer and, more recently, helping another through their cancer journey and subsequent hair loss, that I witnessed the distress and impact of it all.

This was exacerbated by being unable to get to any salon or wig shop appointments, due to personal situations, which resulted in the online purchase of several less than suitable wigs.

Being unable to see, feel or touch the wigs directly led to several choices being returned which in turn proved costly, time-consuming and added more stress.

As a result of my personal experiences, along with my desire to want to help people, I decided to create Wigs & more to your door.
